Over 60 years ago SMC founder Abe Levine first conceived of a novel idea: he would warehouse vast quantities of giftware and general merchandise, and instead of hiring a sales force, he'd put people into business for themselves selling that product!

"People work harder when they're working for themselves," Abe would say. "They put their heart and soul into their work. Those are the people I want selling SMC products."

More than half a century later, that same simple idea continues to work on a larger scale than even Abe ever dreamed. Thousands upon thousands of people have found a way to change their lives. To supplement their income, to throw off the shackles of a boring, low-paying, time-clock-punching job. To find the personal satisfaction that comes from starting a business of their own, and watch it grow and prosper.
